Commissioned by Danza Contemporanea de Cuba with choreography by Billy Cowie and visual designs by Silke Mansholt. Premiered in Havana in spring 2019.

Tangos Cubanos

Tangos Cubanos is a ballet with 20 dancers commissioned by Danza Contemporanea de Cuba revised in 2016 with two new sections and German subtitles for tour of Southern Germany/Switzerland. The dancers are immersed in vast visual panoramas by the German artist Silke Mansholt whereby the dancers movements are clarified and enhanced by the visual elements they are moving through.
